How do I cancel my membership?
Memberships are handled by Apple, so it is done in your iPhone’s settings, not in the app:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions.
- Tap Lost Remedies, then Cancel Subscription.
You keep everything until the end of the period you already paid for.
I paid, but the app says I’m not a member.
In Lost Remedies, open Settings and tap Restore purchases. Make sure the iPhone is signed into the same Apple ID you bought with. If it still doesn’t work, email us with the Apple receipt and we will sort it out.
The sign-in code never arrived.
Check your Spam or Junk folder first. A code is good for one hour; if it has been longer, tap Send a new code. Check the address for a typo, too. If nothing turns up, you can sign in with Apple or Google instead, and your week is still there.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, open Settings, scroll to Account, and tap Delete account. That removes your account and everything stored online. Your phone keeps its own copy until you delete the app or tap Start over.
Can I change my answers?
Yes. In Settings, under Your week, tap what you want to change: what’s bothering you, your medicines, or your kitchen. Then tap Rebuild my week for a fresh seven days.
How do I lock the app with Face ID?
In Settings, under Privacy, turn on Lock with Face ID (Touch ID on older phones). From then on the app asks for your face whenever it opens, with your phone passcode as the fallback.
Why does the app tell me to see a doctor?
Because some things should never be treated with a remedy. Chest pain, trouble breathing, signs of a stroke, blood where it should not be: for those the app stops and tells you to call for help. For everything else, it is honest about what a kitchen remedy can and cannot do. Your doctor and pharmacist know your whole picture; we only know what you told us.
Is there an Android version?
Not yet. Lost Remedies is an iPhone app for now.
